Kings of Leon
Can someone PLEASE explain to me the appeal of the Kings of Leon? I blinked one day and all of a sudden they were being shoved down my throat. They sound like an old 80s throw-back band, but in a bad way. You know how bad music got in the 80s! It seems as if everyone is praising them and blowing smoke up their asses, but I have yet to be impressed. Please, someone enlighten me.

They are just a fad. These is a whole group and community of emo and introspective kids who think that wearing girl's pants, even when they're boys, dying their hair black, having hair in their eyes, and listening to the list of emo and/or cool kid approved bands means something. LOL. Kinds of Leon is just on that list. LOL!
ReplyDeleteHey you know, some of those angsty bands are great! My Chemical Romance is just one example of an emo punk band the goth kids in school are going gaga over, but they are actually pretty talented! But ugh, thanks for the insight Sara!
ReplyDeleteI agree completely. I really like My Chemical Romance. The talent of the musicians isn't really what I was referring to. I was more trying to say that even if a band isn't all that great, if they are on that 'list' they will get the same attention and praise as an actual good group simply for being in that 'list'. I hope that made sense. haha
