Musical interests

So much for keeping up with my blog! It has been a crazy summer, with Indiana getting so big, and tending to my new gardens, and being involved in my friend's wedding...I don't have time to eat half the time! But I did want to share this:

I got this yesterday. I had the design on my hard drive for years, I only just rediscovered it. It holds so much meaning for me, as anyone who reads this blog or likes music too can see.

Also, coming off a fantastically fun and beautiful CD cover collage, I have decided to make one for my mom for Christmas. MOM IF YOU ARE READING THIS STOP NOW! My mom is the world's biggest Aerosmith fan. She has loved them since she was a teenager, been to countless concerts and is a faithful member of their fanclub. So I went on line and dug through my CD covers, and got about 15 of them, everything from Toys in the Attic to Honkin' on Bobo. I will buy a frame for it next week, and put it together next weekend. I will post pictures soon after!

CD cover collage

So I am back! I hope to be able to do this more often. My little one is almost two now, and a little more independent. I am off for the summer until the middle of August so this should afford me some more time. Anyways, looking back at my posts from last year, I was reading the one about my favorite CD covers. I ended up making a great CD collage a few months back. Check it out:







You can see a lot of the covers I listed in my old blog. I had a blast doing it, and was thinking about doing another one ;)











Also, since the last time I blogged, I had the chance to meet Tim from Rise Against twice. Once was at the House of Blues in Orlando, and once was at the Next Big Thing in Tampa. It was so freaking sweet. He couldn't be a nicer guy, and they totally rocked live. I will see them whenever they come into town!

Since this was my first blog in a while, I think I will end this one. I plan on doing more research about music news and more countdowns for you guys :) if you have any questions just ask! Peace out :)
